The TXP, TXP-1 are designed to provide or verify registration fire by small-arms and various calibers guns without live ammunition shooting. The tubes are used for operation with small-arms and armored vehicles guns, gun mounts, anti-aircraft mounts and other carriers. The tubes are produced with ails of various lengths and diameters. For instance, TXP-12-150 refers to a boresighting tube with tails of 12.65 mm diameter and 150 mm length. The tubes of a TXP-1 type additionally contain a level.
